  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling by cooking diced apples with butter, sugar, and cinnamon in a saucepan until softened. Mix cornstarch with water and add to thicken. Cool slightly.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Flatten each biscuit to about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Place a tablespoon of cooled apple filling in the center of each biscuit. Fold and seal tightly.
  5. Dip each ball in melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
