  • ½ cup avocado oil
  • 3 medium apples (peeled and diced)
  • ½ cup milk (for topping)

  • 2 tablespoons sugar (for topping)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Prepare a 7-inch springform pan with baking spray and parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add eggs and oil; mix until smooth but thick. Gently fold in diced apples.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Five minutes before the cake is done, warm milk, butter, and sugar in a pot until dissolved.
  5. Poke holes in the baked cake using a skewer or chopstick, then pour the warm milk mixture over it.
  6. Let the cake cool for about 10–15 minutes before removing from the pan.
